       On April 5, MCCC hosted a groundbreaking ceremony for transitional housing center for homeless veterans to be built in Pike County. The facility is a 25-bed unit that will provide transitional housing for homeless veterans and serve counties located throughout the eastern part of the state.       Read More...

MCCC receives $200k Behavioral Grant

   The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recently granted nearly $200,000 in funding to Mountain Comprehensive Care Center. The facility was the only eastern Kentucky organization and one of three Kentucky organizations that collectively received $680,367 in Affordable Care Act funding from the federal government.

   The Big Sandy Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting a "household shower" for veterans who recently moved into the Big Sandy Regional Veterans Transitional Housing Center in Pike County.

   Dozens of people gathered Friday morning for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Homeless Veterans Transitional adjacent to Shelby Valley High School at Robinson Creek.
