EAST ROOM - 2C: Using Temperaments in Drug and Alcohol Treatments
Presenter: Dr. Shelia Kensinger, Ph.D

This session focuses on finding answers to important questions about drugs/alcohol and why people use them. Drug/alcohol abuse is a complex problem and no one can claim to have all the answers. However, there are fundamental principles presented within this session that will help each student in his/her preparation to advise those suffering in addiction. Knowing the 5 temperaments presented within the Arno profile system will help the counselor or therapist better understand how to increase success in early recovery work and prevent relapse during recovery.
