  • The Supports for Community living (SCL) Medicaid Waiver program provides in-home and community supports to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • This program was developed as an alternative to institutional care so that individuals could receive needed services, including residential care, in community settings.
  • Individuals receive necessary supports to enable them to live independently in their own home, with their family, in staffed residences or in Adult Foster Care Homes.
