Kentucky IMPACT represents a statewide program that utilizes wraparound for children, youth and families. Impact provides for the identification and coordination of needed services and supports for children and youth who are involved with multiple child serving agencies and who have a Severe Emotional Disability. Because there are many more families in crises than any one program can serve, and because we are bound by legislative regulations, IMPACT programs can only accept those children who meet the following criteria: Children must be experiencing serious difficulty in at least two of these areas:
For admission into the program the child must require assistance from at least two service systems (e.g. mental health, school, DPP, DJJ, or DCBS.
