The prevalence of obesity in children and adolescents has increased during the last three decades, correlating to the increase in Type 2 diabetes and depression in this age group. This workshop will define how to determine childhood obesity and associated physical and mental health risks as well as present comprehensive prevention and treatment methods which involve the family, schools and the physical and mental health community. |
